Steady Drop is an attempt to evoke a feeling of rest using an object. The object shows change through movement and demands patience from the spectator – it takes time to see this chance. In exchange for their patience, the spectator receives a moment of rest.

The movement: a drop of water falls, over and over again, from the reservoir onto the object that is placed below the reservoir. With every drop, the object that is subject of the dripping slowly decays.

Steady Drop has been installed in three separate dwelling spaces.
